Age: Also unknown. He's quite old, I can assure you of that.
Species: Human (deceased)
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Sin's appearance is like that of a corpse; his skin is pale and clammy, with hunks of flesh occasionally falling from his form and revealing the decay beneath. He is dead, after all. His body is in a constant state of rot and decay, which he must mend by feeding off the energies of other living things. Despite this, his body is lithe, muscular, and (somehow) quite durable, making him an able warrior.Belongings:
His body and forearms are covored by white armor, composed of thin metal plates housed in leather. Only his body and arms are covered; his legs are wrapped only in simple pants, and his shoulders are bare. He wears no shoes; he has no need for such things.
He's tall, at least six feet in height, but he usually walks in a hunched manner, disguising his true height. His movements are quick and seemingly frantic, almost like that of an animal, but there is no wasted effort. Even when toying with his prey his actions are precise and purposeful.
His eyes are a shade of amber that sparkle with a vitality that just doesn't seem right on him. His hair is blonde and messy (why should he care what his hair looks like?) and usually full of sand.
Beyond his armor, Sin owns very few things. He has been seen wielding a short sword from time to time, his agile movements aided by the sharp blade, but where he keeps it when not in use is a mystery. To the best of anyone's knowledge, he doesn't have a home.Personality:
To be perfectly honest, he doesn't have much of a personality. Eons of wandering the planet and taking the lives of the innocent has driven him to insanity, with only one thought plaguing his mind:Strengths:
"Kill them all. Only then will our goals be met."
What this means is as of yet a mystery.
He doesn't do much talking, and even when he does it is usually in the form of a maniacal laugh, which he exhibits excessively in a battle that manages to excite him.
He has no qualms against killing anything that moves, and doesn't bother to discern innocent from guilty or child from warrior. He has no time for such things. He's driven only by hunger, and people who live by such codes have little time for title and rank.
Great physical strength and agility; the ability to absorb life energy; regenerationWeaknesses:
Psychopathic; deceased; low intelligenceHistory and Background Information:
Very little is known about this creature. What little we do have has been collected from the journal of Lumis Remedi.Any other details:
"...the best I can imagine, Sin is actually a simple thing. An ancient and malicious force. This was easy to derive based on the destruction of the village of Doralia; the evidence I've seen of the attack suggests that he has the traits of an energy vampire, able to absorb the life force of living things and convert them to little more than dust. Such techniques are incredibly ancient and haven't been seen in milennia. A derivitave of it can be seen in some schools of magic, usually practiced by necromancers or chaos magicians..."
He began to ramble here. We've edited it for your convenience.
"...back on topic, though...we, through no small means, managed to fend Sin off from entering the port town of Delia. If we had not the casualties would've been enormous. Of course, no one in Delia knows that, so we got no gratitude from the people there. Frustrating. We did not, however, succeed in destroying him permanently. I wouldn't be surprised if such a thing were impossible. Still, we have yet to hear from him again since that incident, so we may have put him back into his dormant state.
When I first saw him, I thought he looked quite familiar to me. After reviewing a few of the history texts I keep in my home, I've discovered he actually resembles a military general of a bygone era. Or at least, his armor does. This fascinated me. Unfortunately, very little information was provided on this in any of my books, so I still know very little.
I will continue my studies and hope to come up with a more permanent solution for this problem. Until then, I must go retrieve my bread from the oven. It must be done by now."
After absorbing large amounts of energy, he will usually go into a sort of hibernative state in a (more or less) secure location. It would seem that, anytime after Sin reveals himself and then retreats, there is usually some manner of great sandstorm somewhere in the Delia Dunes. This seems like a likely location for him to hide while in his weakened state.
